Which represent vaguely eastern european, nato and south american guerillas or forces. There are also some non-countries labelled red, blue and green. Though I would recommend leaving these on.Īs for unit selection you have pretty much every capable country and as complete as possible OOBs I guess. The game by default uses training levels, ammunition, morale and other such options which can be turned off if you really want to. Or a super long valley you must push into. Which means you can play D-day like scenarios where you have one super wide beach but you only want to take the beach itself. Maps can also be thin and long or super wide but short.
Map sizes go up to several kilometers across. The unit scale is one squad to one vehicle per unit. These games are turn based games played on hexagons on a scale of 50m per hex and a few minutes per turn or so. There's one for World War 2 and a more modern post WW2. The extra PBEM slots are just meh though. They sadly miss higher resolutions which is a shame.
